Electrogas Monitors is pleased to announce the sale of Electrogas to Ashley Hoffer and Philip Rarog effective August 31st, 2021.
The company was previously owned by Don (RIP) and Lana Stenhouse. It is with this sale we are left with mixed emotions. We will see the passing of the torch from the Stenhouse’s who provided the vision and foresight to start Electrogas Monitors back in 1997, but we are equally excited for Lana to start her new path in life. Both Philip and Ashley have been with the organization for over 15 years and are excited to continue the culture, ethics, and integrity that the Stenhouse family instilled in this company throughout its years.
As new owners, Ashley and Philip are keen on continuing with these same policies and philosophies and will not waiver on dedicating themselves to keeping Electrogas Monitors the industry leader in customer service and product portfolio offering.
Philip Rarog is the most senior employee at Electrogas Monitors in terms of tenure. He has been instrumental in driving the company’s sales since his start in 2001. He has fostered many long-term relationships with some of the largest clients in the industry. He will be taking on two new roles outside of being a co-owner which include Vice President of Sales and Special Projects Business Development Manager. He has over 30 years’ experience in outside sales and has a very strong and mutually respectful relationship with all our manufacturers and he looks forward to these new challenges this change will bring.
Ashley Hoffer joined Electrogas 16 years ago in an entry-level position. She spent the first 10 years in Accounting before she was promoted to Director of Operation in 2015. Since then, she has been tasked with more roles and responsibilities and has been running the day-to-day business of Electrogas Monitors for the last six years. Under her tenure, we have seen Electrogas Monitors expand their footprint with new product lines and a third branch in Sherwood Park. Ashley’s education in business and management and keen intuition has helped in strategizing change and growth within the company. She will continue with her role and responsibilities now as Vice President of Operations
The strategy going forward is for Ashley to continue to focus on the day-to-day operations of the business where Philip will head the sales, liaising with suppliers and Business Development. Together they will focus on the stable growth of Electrogas with the goal of expanding Electrogas Monitors to markets and verticals. We can assure that under new ownership, Electrogas will continue with its reputation as the industry leader in product knowledge, customer service, and product portfolio diversity as it has been over the past 24 years. We look forward to the future and supporting the staff and customers who have made Electrogas Monitors and will remain your trusted partner.
Sincerely,
Philip Rarog & Ashley Hoffer
