The Dräger PA94 Plus is tried, tested and well established in the Fire industry. It has led the market since launch by creating new standards of comfort and ergonomics. Numerous system components and accessories from Dräger's global SCBA portfolio are backward and forward compatible with the Dräger PA94 plus. This means: no changes in cleaning, maintenance or testing procedures.
The PAS Colt is a hip-mounted unit with a distinctive, sophisticated harness design which retains its form, making it easy for the wearer to don the apparatus simply and quickly. The procedure for donning the apparatus is evident at first glance, even to the inexperienced user. Equipped, as an option, a unique ‘drop down’ feature, whereby the cylinder can be un-clipped from the waist belt, makes the Dräger PAS Colt ideal for use in confined space entry applications.
Manufactured from a seamless aluminum liner and over wrapped with carbon fibre in an epoxy matrix. An external layer of glass fibre in an epoxy matrix is then wrapped onto the cylinder. This external layer of glass fibre is applied to enhance the resistance of the cylinder to impact and abrasion in service. All Dräger cylinders are manufactured and tested in accordance with the most technologically advanced processes available. Automatic data collection ensures full trace ability of materials used and the effective monitoring of critical process parameters.
Escape Hoods and Particle Masks
The Dräger PARAT® 4500 protects the user from harmful gases, fumes and particles for at least 15 minutes. The large visor has been treated with an anti-fog solution and ensures a clear view and easy orientation during an escape. The ABEK-P15 filter offers reliable protection against perilous gases, fumes and particles. For varying applications, the Dräger PARAT® 4500 is available in three different packages: in a handy case as Soft Pack, as Traveler Pack in a plastic box or in a mining-proven package for heavy industry.
Dräger X-plore® 1700 allow you to breathe easy and comfortably thanks to its very low breathing resistance. Additionally, the specially engineered CoolMAX™ exhalation valve relieves humid and warm exhaled air, preventing heat build-up underneath the mask, allowing you to stay cool. The X-plore® 1700's ergonomic shape, comfort nose pad, and flexible nose clip ensures a secure seal and great fit for various facial shapes.
The Dräger X-plore® 5500 is equipped with two lateral bayonet connections for use of the comprehensive Dräger X-plore® bayonet filter series. The distortion-free lens with 180° wide angle guarantees a large field of view with excellent peripheral vision. A double sealing frame combined with a 5 point harness, ensures that the mask is easy and quick to don. The threefold sealing edges offers safe protection and a secure fit for almost all face shape, while the wide strap design prevents the development of pressure points on the head.
